Privacy Policy
Last updated June 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Karapoint, LLC ("Karapoint," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit www.karapoint.com (the "Site") or get in touch with us. We keep our data practices deliberately small: we collect only what we need to answer your enquiry and deliver our services, and we don't sell your personal information.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit our contact form, you choose to share the following with us:
- Name (required)
- Email address (required)
- Company or organization (optional)
- Request type — App Rescue & Launch, Enterprise CMS & Architecture, Launch With Us, or something else
- A link to your repository, app, or site (optional)
- Your message — and any personal information you choose to include in it
If you email us or pitch us an idea, we also receive whatever you send, including any attachments or links.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting and security providers process limited technical data needed to serve and protect the Site, such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you request. Our anti-spam verification (Cloudflare Turnstile) uses your IP address and similar signals to confirm you're a real person when you submit the form. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic; it sets no cookies and does not track you across sites or build a profile of you. We do not use advertising trackers. See our Cookie Policy for details on cookies.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and provide an assessment
- To scope, quote, and deliver our services to you
- To protect the Site against spam, abuse, and security threats
- To keep records and comply with our legal obligations
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with the service providers that help us operate the Site and respond to you — our hosting and bot-protection provider, our email-delivery provider, and our email host — and only as needed. Each processes your information on our behalf under its own terms and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Karapoint or others.
How long we keep it
We keep contact-form submissions and related correspondence for as long as needed to respond to you and, where relevant, for the duration of an engagement plus a reasonable period afterward for our records, legal, and accounting needs. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed.
How we protect your information
The Site is served over HTTPS, our contact destination address is never exposed in the website code, and we rely on reputable providers with strong security practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to safeguard your information.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We extend these core choices to everyone who contacts us. Because we do not sell or share personal information and do not run targeted advertising, there is nothing to opt out of in those respects.
To exercise any right, reach us through our contact page. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
International visitors
Karapoint is based in the United States, and the providers we use may process your information in the United States and other countries. By using the Site or contacting us, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in locations whose data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.
Children's privacy
The Site is intended for businesses and professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
